  • In August 2004, Sitka opened its first office and was located in Lachine, QC for 5 years.
  • In 2009, the company formed a new subsidiary (7255756 Canada Inc.), a real estate company, that acquired a commercial condo in Saint-Laurent, QC. This is Sitka's present location since late 2009.
  • In 2010, Sitka signed an exclusive agreement with a saw mill in the Lanaudiere region.  This has become the selling force of wood products for this mill.
  • In 2012, Sitka founded a subsidiary company in the United States and opened a second office located east of Chicago, IL. Since then, Sitka has grown into a dynamic company with expanded facilities.

Our staff includes 10 seasoned salesmen who are knowledgeable and experienced; this totals more than 100 years of experience combined in the field.

At Sitka, we combine the traditional knowledge and skill of timber production with state-of-the-art technology, in order to offer you faster services and deliveries. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our use of responsibly sourced materials.
Sitka's History
Since being established on June 23, 2004, Sitka Forest Products has expanded significantly and is now one of the largest providers of softwood in Canada and USA. Sitka's primary investors/shareholders consist of Jean-Yves Cardinal, Martin Cardinal, and Henri Rabbath.
